Yakama Nation Wildlife Resource Management Program

Public Hunting & Fishing

The Yakama Nation public hunting and fishing program manages the hunting activities of non-Yakama hunters. Hunters over the age of 12 are required to purchase a Yakama Nation Hunting & Fishing Permit.

With a permit, hunting is allowed for the following:

Purchase a permit online or from a local vendor

**HUNTERS – If you purchase an on-line permit on your phone, Please do not keep opening your phone to your permit.  I have noticed some of your purchases are being duplicated or even triple charged.

If I catch them, I can go into the bank system and reverse charges- however, I don’t catch all of them.  It is your responsibility not to re-enter your information.

Your permit will be mailed to you within 10 days of purchase!

** There are a couple errors on the map.

  • The CARL property located on Pumphouse Road, just southwest of the Zimmerman Property is still a “Hunt by Permission – fee property” it should be blue on the map – it is erroneously unmarked.
  • Toppenish Refuge, off of Hwy 97 and Pumphouse Road should be RED, it is a National Refuge.
  • Notice the light green cross-hatched properties by the Haimbridge property between Pumphouse and Marion Drain road.
