Public Hunting & Fishing
The Yakama Nation public hunting and fishing program manages the hunting activities of non-Yakama hunters. Hunters over the age of 12 are required to purchase a Yakama Nation Hunting & Fishing Permit.
With a permit, hunting is allowed for the following:
- Upland Game Birds
- Waterfowl
- Rabbits And Other Small Game
Online Permit Sales are not available at the moment we are actively working to correct the situation. Please see one of our local vendors to purchase Permit in person or our office. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Full Season $45 + $2.50 Vendor Fee
w/ Electronic Decoy $55 + $2.50 Vendor Fee -
Consecutive 3 Day Pass $30 + $2.50 Vendor Fee
w/ Electronic Decoy $40 + $2.50 Vendor Fee
**HUNTERS – If you purchase an on-line permit on your phone, Please do not keep opening your phone to your permit. I have noticed some of your purchases are being duplicated or even triple charged.
If I catch them, I can go into the bank system and reverse charges- however, I don’t catch all of them. It is your responsibility not to re-enter your information.
Your permit will be mailed to you within 10 days of purchase!
- Toppenish Refuge, off of Hwy 97 and Pumphouse Road should be RED, it is a National Refuge.
