The Yakama Nation public hunting and fishing program manages the hunting activities of non-Yakama hunters. Hunters over the age of 12 are required to purchase a Yakama Nation Hunting & Fishing Permit.

With a permit, hunting is allowed for the following:

Congratulations to our 2022 turkey youth hunter for a successful hunt!

Jackson Van Horn poses with his turkey after a successful hunt. Congratulations! Stay tuned for the 2023 spring Public Turkey Raffle. Raffle ends in late March and hunting begins in April. Youth hunts available.

Please remember that Yakama Nation allows public hunting on these lands as a privilege. We ask you to remain respectful of the rules and regulations of Yakama Nation, and to be courteous in sharing the hunting areas with others.
